Refund policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with your Honister Slate purchase. Please review the policy below for information on returns, exchanges and refunds.

Standard Returns

You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return.

Important: We do not accept returns on bespoke-made or aggregate items unless there is a quality issue not caused by misuse or mishandling.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, in its original condition and in its original packaging.

  • You’ll need to provide proof of purchase (e.g. order number or receipt).

To initiate a return, please contact us at sales@honister.com.

Once your return is accepted, we’ll provide:

  • Full instructions on where to send the parcel

Note: Items sent back without prior return approval will not be accepted.


Incorrect Items

Please contact us immediately if the item(s) you received is incorrect. We will do our best to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We will arrange for a replacement to be set as soon as possible and for collection of the the incorrect item(s).


Damaged/Faulty Items 

Please inspect your order on arrival. If any item is damaged/faulty, contact us immediately at sales@honister.com, so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Please note: We review each case individually. In some cases, we may require further information such as pictures, to determine the best course of action


Items That Cannot Be Returned

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Bespoke or personalised items, including engraved slate and custom house signs

  • Sale items

  • Gift cards

  • Items that have been used

If you're unsure whether your item is returnable, feel free to get in touch before placing your order.

 

Exchanges

Please return the unwanted item (once approved) and place a new order separately for the replacement item.

 

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we’ll notify you of the approval status.

  • If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days

  • Please note that bank processing times may vary

If more than 15 business days from receiving your order, we do not offer refunds.
